Dermaplaning can remove up to 3 times more dead skin cells than other mechanical exfoliation treatments. Dead skin cells can cause the skin to have a dry appearance & can cause congestion on the surface of the skin that isn’t always visible to the naked eye. Dermaplaning is amazing at getting rid of excess fine hairs which can often accumulate dirt and oil - as these hairs are vellus hairs, as opposed to terminal hairs, it will not grow back thicker or darker. Exfoliation of dead cells along with the removal of fine hairs will result in a healthier, brighter skin that has a smoother look and feel, and allows better product penetration plus your make up will glide on beautifully.
