Important Information

Appointments

We ask politely that you arrive on time to your appointment as this ensures the smooth running of the day. Lateness will result in having to cut down your appointment time so we do not run late for the next client, as we are fully booked. When booking if you would like a certain therapist then please feel free to request.

It will be necessary for you to fill out a client consultation form before each treatment. This is necessary for insurance purposes and treatments cannot be carried out without this information. The form will be sent to you usually 48 hours prior to your appointment. It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies/medical conditions on this form so we can carry out a tailored treatment for you. If you do have any medical conditions you think we may need to know about, please ask us on the phone when booking. Please also let us know if you are currently pregnant as this may restrict some of the treatments we are able to carry out for you.

Can I bring my children/friends with me?

Unfortunately not. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your treatment with us. The salon is a peaceful and tranquil environment where our clients come for an hour or so away from children and family life to relax and we have quiet treatments such as massages and facials being performed all day. There are also many hazards for children that you wouldn’t be able to fully supervise while you are having your treatment such as heaters, wax pots, candles and machinery, meaning we are unable to have babies, toddlers and small children in the salon.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes for some treatments you will. If you book over the phone, you will be told at the time of booking if you need a patch test and when you would need to come. You don’t need to book an appointment for a patch test - you can just pop in and one of our receptionists will be able to assist you. If you prefer to book online, the treatment description will let you know if a patch test is required. Don’t forget if you haven’t had that particular treatment for 6 months or your medical circumstances have changed recently (including having either dose of the COVID vaccine, or testing positive for COVID), you will need to re patch test just to make sure! Unfortunately if you are unable to come for a patch test and the treatment requires one - we will have to reschedule your appointment to a later date as we need to ensure you are not allergic to the products used.

Deposit Terms & Conditions

You will be asked to pay a deposit at the time of making your booking over the phone. For most treatments, the deposit is £20 however you may be asked to pay a higher deposit for larger bookings. If you are a regular client, the £20 will stay on your account to allow you to book future appointment easily and without paying a new deposit each time. Appointments with a value of less than £20 will need to be paid in full at the time of booking. Appointments with a value of £40 or more will require a deposit of 50% of the total bill. You can book online and pay a smaller deposit, however please note the system will save card details for that appointment where a cancellation charge will be taken for any appointments that are not cancelled according to our T&Cs.

If you are paying by voucher, your voucher number will be taken at the time of booking and this will be used as a deposit for your booking. In the event of a no show or late cancellation, the cancellation fee will be taken from the voucher amount and cannot be refunded.

If you need to change or cancel your booking for any reason, you will need to give us at least 24 hours notice which will allow us enough time to rebook your space to someone else. By paying your deposit you agree to our terms & conditions that the deposit will be non refundable in the event of a late cancellation. In the case that more than 24 hours notice is given, the deposit will stay on your client account and can be used for the next time you have a treatment. Repeat no shows & cancellations will mean that you will be asked to pay for your whole appointment upfront which will then be non refundable if you fail to attend that appointment.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes! Lots of it! Depending on how long your treatment is there are a few different options for you. You can pay & display on the main road for up to 1 hour - we recommend this for shorter treatments than are less than 45 minutes in duration. If your treatment is 1 hour or more you have two options, the first being Tesco where you can park for up to 3 hours free of charge, or the Wood Oven pay & display car park. Turn directly between the Wood Oven and Cask & Stillage car park and you will come to a large pay & display where you can park all day if needed. Please do ensure you have enough time on your ticket as you will miss out on some of your treatment time if you need to leave the salon to change your ticket. Our staff are also unable to change your ticket for you as we will be busy pampering other clients too!

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We do indeed! There are two ways to buy our vouchers. You can purchase vouchers from our salon reception for either a certain amount or a certain treatment. The amount will be loaded onto an electronic gift card for the recipient and will be valid for 1 year from the purchase date. If you don’t happen to be passing, we also offer PDF vouchers that can be purchased through our website. These can also be personalised and are sent instantly to your inbox!

Courses

Courses purchased must be paid in full at the time of the treatment or at dates set our in your payment plan. Courses must be completed within 12 months and are non-refundable. Missed sessions & late cancellations of course appointments may result in treatments being deducted from your course.
